EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This pivotal role at Greenwood Christian School and Childcare Ministries (GCS) offers a unique opportunity for a visionary and spiritually driven leader to shape Christ-centered education from early childhood through elementary grades. The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive and spiritual guide, overseeing all operational, academic, and administrative functions. This position is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community engagement within a faith-based environment, collaborating closely with the School Management Team to ensure the fulfillment of GCS’s mission. 

FOURTH/FIFTH GRADE ELA TEACHER

Greenwood Christian School is seeking a dynamic, faith-driven, and qualified 4th & 5th grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our upper elementary team. This individual will also serve as the 5th grade Homeroom Teacher, providing daily support, guidance, and spiritual leadership to the 5th grade class. The ideal candidate will inspire students to become thoughtful readers, skilled writers, and confident communicators - while grounding instruction in a Biblical worldview. This teacher will play a vital role in preparing students for middle school through high-quality literacy intstruction, relationship building, and Christ-centered mentorship.

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

Greenwood Christian School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate education that nurtures students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. The teacher will consistently integrate a Biblical worldview into all areas of instruction, helping students understand God’s truth and how it applies to their lives. This position upholds the mission of the school to disciple students through both academic excellence and spiritual formation.

PART-TIME ELEMENTARY ART TEACHER

Greenwood Christian School is seeking a creative, Christ-centered Elementary Art Teacher to teach visual arts to students in grades K-5. This part-time position includes providing weekly art instruction to each elementary class once per week, scheduled over the course of two days. The teach will implement the Indiana State Standards for Visual Arts through age-appropriate, engaging lessons, while nuturing students' creativity and spiritual growth. This position also includes preparing and presenting a student art show as part of the school's Fine Arts Program at the end of the year.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS 

Candidates must love Jesus and children. Responsibilities include: Following the classroom teacher's lesson plans so there is minimal disruption in education, keeping accurate records of student progress and attendance, and managing a safe and loving environment for all students that reflects the love of Jesus.
