EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

This pivotal role at Greenwood Christian School and Childcare Ministries (GCS) offers a unique opportunity for a visionary and spiritually driven leader to shape Christ-centered education from early childhood through elementary grades. The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive and spiritual guide, overseeing all operational, academic, and administrative functions. This position is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community engagement within a faith-based environment, collaborating closely with the School Management Team to ensure the fulfillment of GCS’s mission. 

PRINCIPAL

The Principal serves as the spiritual, academic, and administrative leader of the Pre-K through grade 5 elementary program at Greenwood Christian School, ensuring that all aspects of the program align with the school’s mission, philosophy, and statement of faith. As a direct report to the school’s Executive Director, the Principal partners with faculty, staff, students, and parents to foster a Christ-centered environment that supports spiritual growth, character development, and academic excellence. The Principal works closely with the Executive Director and the School Management Team (SMT) to ensure implementation of high-quality programs and compliance with any applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.

ELEMENTARY MUSIC TEACHER 

Greenwood Christian School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Elementary Music Teacher who desires to nurture students’ love for music while pointing them to Christ. This part-time role is ideal for someone who sees music as a gift from God and an opportunity to lead children in expressing worship, creativity, and joy in the Lord. The teacher will help students grow musically and spiritually through a safe, Christ-centered learning environment.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS 

Candidates must love Jesus and children. Responsibilities include: Following the classroom teacher's lesson plans so there is minimal disruption in education, keeping accurate records of student progress and attendance, and managing a safe and loving environment for all students that reflects the love of Jesus.
